Death Star Model Base Tiles Version 2.0 This is my second version of the Death Star Tiles. Version 1.0 sold very well and was received very well my the model building community at large. I really enjoyed making the first set but to me they were never what I would call accurate. With version 2.0 I wanted them to be more accurate to the original death star tiles that were used, but at the same time having my own unique aspects. Here below you can see the version two tiles and you can see they are indeed more accurate to the originals. I am still working on two additional tiles that will add not only a mini gun tower, but also the "Piano Key" style as well. The last two will be out sometime in the next few months.
The Panels were sent to Mike Salzo to be molded and cast. These Panels are for sale, please email me for pricing. If you are a member of the RPF, OT Forum or SSM please tell me so in the email. I am now taking orders on these. Please keep in mind that Mike will be casting these as the orders are received but if you have ever ordered from him before, you know that he works very fast and his work is excellent. Here is a picture of the first castings:
Please Note: The standard tile set is in quantities of four and tiles A,B,C and D are the standard set. If you are ordering more than four, please tell me which tile you want more of by it's letter designation. The tiles are letter designations are below.
